The Management Information Service, once again, was very successful in facilitating the celebration of the National ICT Month themed “ICT: TULAY TUNGO SA SAMA-SAMANG PAG-UNLAD NG BAYAN,” last June 25, 2014. The program focused not only on updating, but also on the importance of Information Technology in improving the livelihood of people using the internet.
The event was featured significant and interesting topics such as “The DOST Nationwide Operational Assessment of Hazards (NOAH) Program,” “Information Communication Technology for Disaster Risk Reduction and Management,” “Tips and Tricks–Office 2013,” “Windows 8.1 and Microsoft Office 365,” “PLDT KaAsenso-Cyberya,” “Epson Core Technologies,” “Relevance of Social Media for Community Business,” and “New Style of IT.”
The activity excited the attendees when EPSON Philippines surprisingly raffled five brand new printers. The lucky winners from different offices in the OP went home with such big smiles.
The very informative whole-day event ended with closing remarks given by the Honorable Ronaldo A. Geron, Deputy Executive Secretary for Finance and Administration.
